Fun website, Beccy, thanks! Yeah, the hair roll thing is pricey. I haven't ordered one, yet, but I don't spend money on my hair in any other pricey way and I do have to keep it up during the heat, so I think I'll get one, soon. I hope it will work with my fine, thin hair.

Here's a cheap way to make one of those, sort of. I used to have a headband which was a roll, so it didn't lie flat. I used to comb my hair in a circle, hanging down evenly all around my head, including my face. Then I'd put the round headband on top of my head and push it down to where it wouldn't pop off, sort of like a crown, with part of it across my forehead just a little. Then I would start bringing my hair up and tucking it over and under so that the band didn't show and my hair was rolled like in that website picture, except for in front where the band showed because i didn't have bangs. It doesn't work as well with really long hair unless the headband is a fatter roll. Anyway, you might try it with a scarf or something with something inside of it to keep the round shape (like a sausage in a circle**bg**).
