Call me a skeptic, but I don't think that man talked to God. :-)

I used to think that the mystery embodied in a pretty girl was the ultimate life had to offer too, but I've changed my mind about that.

All good things don't come from people, just a lot of good things. A lot of good things come from Nature too. This planet would do fine without people, but then the people would just have to go somewhere else for a new embodiment...or not...as the case might be. Embodiments are neat to play around with, but they become uncomfortable with advancing age or adverse conditions. This makes physical life a very problematical business, whether you choose to have it on planet Earth or elsewhere. I personally think it takes a lot of guts to come here, and even more to stay.
