My dog, a Rat Terrorist, is an unusual animal. When I take him out at night during a full moon, he actually looks at the moon and howls. He doesn't howl unless the moon is full.

But that is not the most unusual thing about him. He has a kind of extra-sensory perceptive power.

When I watch TV, he ignores the set until...now I know this is difficult to believe...something, an ad or program, with William Shatner in it is about to come on.

This power has a 100% no-fail statistic. Whenever my dog runs to the TV and stares at it, I tell my significant other that Shatner is about to appear. And he does!!

My dog, "Tiberius", (named after Starship Capt. James Tiberius Kirk, incidentally!) will then sit and stare at the TV until Shatner is no longer on screen!

I sought the counsel of a pet psychic concerning this, and she told me that the dog indeed has psychic abilities! When I asked her why does this ability seem to arise only when Shatner is on TV, she said, "Well, hell...Shatner is the only thing on TV worth watching!"

Some things are so simple, they are easy to overlook!
