I'll be taking my 8-year-old daughter to the East Coast next week. We'll be spending a week in Boston with my sister, and a week in my hometown of Philadelphia with my mom. Our Boston schedule is filling up rapidly (including the Press Room on Friday 7/25 and a Gordon Bok concert in Newbury on 7/26), but I'm wondering what musical gatherings there might be in the Quaker City area the following week. One tentative plan is to drive down one day to visit with Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer in DC, but it depends on their recording schedule. I'm also going to spend one day in New York visiting with an editor and agent (leaving Shayna with her grandmother for the day). But otherwise, the week is wide open.
