They've been at a good few festivals I think. Why aren't they better known? I suppose is, what is the process by which bands and artists get well known in folk music, and that's worth a thread in itself. There must be some bookings and some publications and so forth which matter more than others.

There are people who are far better known than Tim Laycock and the Scorpion Band who would just about be fit to carry their instruemnts.
