Saturday was not the best session we have had. No bass player, and I found it impossible to play the one in the corner of the shop. Everybody that tried felt the same. Got a major blister on my right hand in just two songs trying to generate some volume by picking hard and keep the timing... which I didn't. Frustrating. Gern was there but left before we had finished having a good time. Enjoyed what we did share anyways. Next Saturday, Laurie is working. However, I will be there. Probably 12:30-ish.
