Well, the best meal we had camping this year (and we had some really great ones) was the night we ate the 3 catfish Wayne had just caught very early that morning. I like catfish sorta' but I had never had any that fresh and although the bottom dwelling slugs are pretty gross looking, they ate GREAT!!! One was about 30 inches and another almost two foot, so we had a lot. Oddly enough, there were no leftovers!!!! Butter and bacon grease and a couple of cast iron skillets over the open fire and they were done to perfection!
