Very comforting, Kendall. Thanks for that. The new miniature dachshund, Rennie, is doing his best to fill the gap left by Arnot. He's a bit weird, but likeable...which is pretty standard for dachshunds. He is lower to the ground than anything else I've seen, other than a snake. Pet psychologists could have a field day with these little guys.

The comic strip Liberty Meadows is running an extensive gag right now on its official wiener dog, Oscar, who is training for an upcoming wiener dog race. He is the typical brown dachshund in every way.
