I'd have thought that it'd be quite possible to make a blend of Semtex and cheese that would still be explosive, but would still have all the appearance of cheese...

The thing to remember though, is never ever make any kind of jokey remarks about any of the explosive potential contents of your baggage when you are going through custioms or security. People have been faced with really hefty jail sentences for that kind of thing.
