Once had a miniature daschsund named Toby....everyplace we went she would walk around the neighbourhood til she had her own feeding route established...where folks would give her hotdogs and hamburgers and all sorts of other goodies...her favourite was this elderly German gentleman who lived next door to my grandparents named Mr. Messenbrink (sp?)...and he would talk to her in German and feed her all sorts of treats like ice cream...everytime we were going back home for a visit she would get all excited...until thee old man passsed away...

There were times when she would be so fat he belly would srapce the ground..it was amazing that she could move...
