Garsh, thanks, Linn- I guessed that! What I meant was to arrive unannounced and just show up. But this rotten sore throat and malaise, now a headache that feels like a hangover (and I don't even drink anymore!)- kind of cramps my style and my urge to drive 2 hours, look for a parking place, and sit in a smoky joint for a few hours before driving 2 hours home!
