My suggestions will certainly date me! Many of the songs of WWII, which probably won't be familiar to a lot of the Mudcat folks: "My Ideal," Billy Butterfield; "You'll Never Know," Dick Haymes; "I'll Be Seeing You," JO Stafford; "As Time Goes By," Dooley Wilson, "You Made Me Love You," (Surprise) Jimmy Durante. More contemporary: "And I love You So," Don McLean or Perry Como; "Dream," Roy Orbison (old song of course).WyoWoman, if your are recovering from heartbreak, the best place to turn to is music! You know that! For me, it's been a long, long time since I experienced it, but recovery takes a lot of time and music helps the healing!
