Wolfgang, I beg to differ: The Virgin Islands are neither a state nor a State. There are the British Virgin Islands, and the American Virgin Islands. I know not the technical status of the British Virgin Islands, but I'm sure they are not sovereign. And the American Virgin Islands are a territory, not a State.
