Hi folks. I know this isn't folk, but there is so much expertise here that I have to ask.

Does anyone know of any lyrics for Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, in German or English, "classical" or recently composed?

I ask this because my piano playing (such as it is), brings much delight to a dear elderly friend. He always asks for the Moonlight Sonata and always tells me how moved he is by it (even though I must admit that I play a dumbed-down arrangement of it). He also always says that it should be a song and that it's a pity that there are no words to it.

Anyway, this gentleman's 100th birthday is coming up and I thought that a Moonlight Song would be the perfect gift. Do I have to write it myself?
