Google's corporate share price has skyrocketed - they also changed their programs and methods of "data collection" an individual's browsing. When you use google to go to a site - you will NOW find the site with Google in the URL window and the linking information.
Right Click PC Mouse to reveal properties of page, copy-paste into URL box.
The nice friendly Google of the past is the nosey-marketing-snoop of Today.

If using windows-xp, there is an easy way to block ads and pop-ups. Just use Tweak-xp (http://www.tweak-xp.de/) and check the required options.
