Thank you. Most of the credit should go to Jerry Epstein, our festival director, who pushed and prodded the Folk Music Society of New York (NY Pinewoods) board of directors until we collectively gave this project the green light. We also need to thank Howard Glasser, the guiding spirit of the old Eisteddfod, last held in Massachusetts in 1996, who serves as our chief advisor and director emeritus. Many of the performing staff are appearing at Howard's suggestion, and they consider it a tribute to him that Jerry and NY Pinewoods are trying to keep this grand old festival going.
