Gorton Tank was indeed the name of a band that appeared at the Unicorn from time to time. It was led by Chris Cole on melodeon but I'm afraid I can't remember the names of the rest of the band. I've got a tape of them performing at the Unicorn in my collection. When did you go to the Unicorn Vin? I was there from '81 to '84. Might we have met I wonder?
