My late father used to make nettle beer. It was when I was about 7-9 He gave me a taste of it and what I can remember of it was fantastic. Unfortunately the next day I came out in a major rash. Our old doctor saw me and said, Im sure we'll never find out what caused it -it's some kind of allergy/ nettle rash! My father didn't say any more, and we went home in silence.
