Thanks Bob -- those sound like great ideas! I've considered vacuuming her before, but she's terrified of the sound of my big machine I think. She runs for cover every time I turn it on. Maybe I'll borrow my Dad's little hand-held "dust-buster" this afternoon and see if she'd tolerate that better. If she does, I'd happily fork out the money for one of my own!

I think she'd really love that fish-oil tactic! And I betcha I could distract her from attacking both me and the comb if I spread it on one half of her body while I combed the other. Hmmmmmm ...
