Our fire was just a neighborhood woods fire that scared the heck out of everyone. We went by the fire station tonight and thanked everyone. Bride Judy and I have cancelled our planned camping trip to the mountains this yesr. It's just too dry and dangerous. In my years and years of long solo backpacking trips in the Olympic Mountains, I've been close to two wildfires. I've seen the Borate bombers come overhead and drop their red powder.
