Doncha learn on Mudcat? I'd never heard of "Borate bombers" so did a quick Google search on the term when I saw Bob's post. Now all is explained. I never got zotted with Agent Orange in 'Nam, but was exposed to it's components, 2-4-D and 2453-T, while weed-spraying in the 60s. That explains why I am now totally cranky... Anyway...

Hit the Deck Man - I'd rather have a Martin Mars doing the fire-bombing (fill-time in seconds) than a B-17 full of powder. Water gets you wet, but doesn't have long term effects like the powder.
