Another technique is to roll the cat in tiny iron filings until they are all through her hair...then pass the cat over or under a powerful electromagnet! Zap! All those loose hairs come out along with the iron filings. This method is very quick, once you've got the iron filings worked in properly, and the cat won't have a clue what you're up to either.

I think in Roo's case you may have trouble even locating the electromagnet afterward, but I think it's worth a try. It'll be somewhere within the giant ball of hair. Take it outside and turn off the power. If there's a wind blowing, your problem will become your neighbours' problem instead.

Try mixing the iron filings first with powdered catnip, and Roo will even do the rolling part for you.
