Kim - You will be intrigued to know that in Cuba, people do just that. They also sing whenever the mood strikes them. They are far less inhibited than their North American counterparts, I find. I think it's partly the warm climate, but it's also due to the lack of money and material luxuries...you make your own fun in a place like that, on the spot, instead of watching highly paid professionals do it for you on a tiny screen.

Man, how I loved it! I did have the advantage of knowing some great people there, which always helps when you're visiting anywhere.
