This is great, reading about your new adventure!
You can get Benadryl gel to rub on insect bites.
That will help stop the itching. Eucalyptus will
repel the mosquitos. You can buy the oil at a
pharmacy (sometimes have to ask for it at the counter)
or use those paper sheets that soften clothes in
the dryer - they have
eucalyptus oil in them.

Once you get settled in, I'm sure you will be very
happy there.
