Dead right. In a castle with 500+ rooms one does not worry much about one cat. In a 2 room shack it's a different matter. Not that I'm suggesting you live in one! Your place is lovely. Just rambling on.

But...DANG! I was really hoping you'd try the iron filings idea. Darn it all! Oh, well.

Here's another notion. Go to your local military base (Base Borden?) and see if they will put the cat into a wind tunnel. They use 'em for testing airfoils and such. I figure an 800 knot wind would probably clear off most of the loose hair from the Roo... But expect a hefty fee for the service. After all, those military contractors buy $5,000 toilet seats and stuff like that regularly without blinking an eye, so I hear.
