I know Devil's Club. It very common in the Cascade Mountains. It pretty from a distance, but the closer you see it, the more distance you prefer. I've seen some tall and dense thickets of the stuff that I'll bet would actually kill you if you fell into them. I suppose the next thing I'll see on this thread is a recipe for Skunk Cabbage!
