My dear Ms. Penelope Rutledge,

I see that your knowledge of the poetry of neurotic, agoraphobic, undersexed spinsters who spend their entire lives in prisons of their own making while composing little verses that are quite possibly the only reason that they haven't just done us all a favor and committed suicide is greater than your knowledge of anthropology and paleontology. Your use of the term "slackjawed Cro-Magnon" to refer to my humble self belies your obvious total ignorance of human evolution. If a Cro-Magnon man were to walk down the streets of modern day Twillingsgate he would be virtually indistinguishable from, say, Winston Wellington-Jones or Malcolm Buggerall. If you want "slackjawed" you have to go back to the much more primitive Neanderthal man. "Slackjawed Neanderthal" would have been a much more logical choice of words.
