Why India creating National Blockchain Framework (#NBF) on "permissioned blockchain" is a myopic strategy ? Blockchain is a global technology. Public blockchains , just like the internet aren't constrained by local boundaries. Building a National Blockchain Framework on a "permissioned blockchain" architecture can't be a framwework for VISHVASYA. A broad comparison between the internet and Ethernet  : 1. Network scale: The internet is a GLOBAL network . Ethernet connects devices in a local area network (LAN). 2. Advantages of #Ethernet . It is faster and generally safer than the #Internet because it only allows access to authorized users and doesn't support unauthorized devices. 3. Disadvantages of Ethernet. The Internet is used for global communication and data exchange, while Ethernet is used for reliable data transfer within a Local Area Network. You can't connect a smartphone or smart device to an Ethernet cable. Ethernet KILLS INNOVATION unless build on the foundation of the internet. You can use an Ethernet connection without internet access, but you'll only be able to communicate with devices on the Ethernet network. Public blockchain is like INTERNET Permissioned blockchain is like ETHERNET. Should India build a National Blockchain Framework like an ETHERNET ? Only an INTERNET like open , public architechture fulfill the goal of providing TRUST (#VISHVASYA ). ETHERNET like permissioned network must be build on the foundation of VISHVASYA for speed and transpency in government functions and public services. Solution: Build on an INTERNET framework with applications. Build VISVASYA on the foundation of TRUST. Build permissioned blockchain solutions (ETHERNET) on the (INTERNET) public blockchains.
