Subject: RE: etta baker - startling chord in railroad bill From: M.Ted Date: 10 Oct 06 - 02:29 PM It is kind of a diminished chord--all Seventh Chords have a diminished triad, E7 has G#-B-D-so you can think of it as a G# diminished with the note a major third below the fundamaental, (or a major step above the fifth )added. It either explains a lot, or makes things more confusing. Either way, though, Cap't, you've got to get out more-- |
