Search for [dese bones] and if that isn't the one, try [dry bones] or just bones to see if we have what you are looking for.

I know an old children's song called Dem Bones...starts with...Lord He thought he'd make a man....Dem Bones gonna rise again...took a little water and He took a little sand....Dem Bones gonna rise again. If it's not the one you're looking for...thanks for the memory..I had forgotten. The verses are about Adam and Eve.

... or is it the one that goes "Your toe bone connected to you foot bone, Your foot bone connected to your ..."? (Well, why don't I give you the lot, in case? Good idea!) Apologies for the unenlightened words like "gwine", but the whole thing is non-pc.

Ezekiel connected them dry bones
Ezekiel connected them dry bones
Ezekiel connected them dry bones
Now hear the word of the Lord!

Now, your to bone connected to your foot bone,
Your foot bone conneced to your heel bone,
Your heel bone connected to your ankle bone,
Your ankle bone connected to your leg bone,
Your leg bone connected to your knee bone,
Your knee bone connected to your thigh bone,
Your thigh bone connected to your hip bone,
Your hip bone connected to your back bone,
Your back bone connected to your shoulder bone,
Your shoulder bone connected to your neck bone,
Your neck bone connected to your head bone,
Now hear the word of the Lord!

Dem bones, dem bones, gwine walk about, ...
Now hear the word of the Lord!

Disconnect dem bones ...
Now hear the word of the Lord!

Well, your head bone connected from your neck bone, (etc)

Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones,
Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones,
Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones,
Now hear the word of the Lord!

The order of the "verses" might be a bit iffy, but I'm sure someone'll put me right.

Steve

Rick R - There are in fact a great many songs that use "dem bones" somehow - Dem bones gonna rise again, dem bones gonna walk around, dem bones connected to ..., etc. I am also familiar with Night Owl's song. My favorite verses, as a child, went

De Lord he came a-snooping around
Dem bones gonna rise again
He spied de peelings on de ground
Dem bones gonna rise again

Chorus

"Adam, Adam, where art thou?"
Dem bones gonna rise again
"Yes, Massa Lord, I'm a-comin' now!"

Dem bones etc. etc,

Remember "The Prisoner" television series of the late 1960's starring Patrick McGoohan? When he gained his freedom in the final episode, he and the butler did a dance number to "The toe bone's connected to the foot bone" etc.

Rick, ya got some clues about whatcha doing? Whatcha want?

Well, there's kind of a funky midi version of it here.

There's a slow, but kind of neat version here.

Both midi's, I'm having trouble finding wav files.
