Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 7 hills to home From: GUEST Date: 06 May 09 - 10:43 PM I remember this song from the early fifties- I was about 17,living in Dallas. I worked at a Safeway store on Ross ave. There was a little cafe next door and they had it on the jukebox. I spent many a nickle listening to it. At one time I knew the lyrics, but like everything else I soon forgot all but one verse. I spent yrs. trying to find it. A friend called me and said they had it on E-Bay- I gave the 78 to him for finding it and put it on file. I liked the flip-side as well. If you want them, let me know and I'll put it on a cd and send to you.-- jimhigh@hotmail.com -- Check out my web www.texasballads.com |
