From: Jeri

Well, it doesn't have to get added to the DT, but what the hey. Why do people always seem to get their panties in a bunch on weekends? Why do GUEST flamers always get their triggers tripped in the summer? (Duh, schools out and they're bored.) After getting upset about the arguments a few times, I thought it might be better to see some humor in them. The tune is "My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean," unless someone has a better idea.

There's a bug up my butt about something
And the reason with you I will share
There's a bug up my butt about something
But I sort of like having it there

Chorus:
Bug up my butt, bug up my butt
I really enjoy being right, so right
Bug up my butt, bug up my butt
So I'm keeping it jammed up there tight

Although no one else cares about it
You just used a word I can't stand
Please watch what you say in the future
And I think we will get along grand

Your spelling's completely atrocious
So let me explain the wright weigh
And completely ignore whatever
It was you were trying to say

The last thing I'm going to mention
Is your viewpoint is not quite PC
Well, it maybe OK with the rest of the world
But it certainly irritates me

And while I am sharing my feelings
Your opinion is different than mine
We don't have to fight 'cause I know I am right
Just agree, and things will be fine

I think we were planning on talking
About something else, I don't know
But before we continue discussion...
Wait a minute, now where did you go?

Very touching....very true.

Say, if you experiment around a bit, do you think you could find the right bug so you could cop a quality buzz?

Oh, yes...! You definitely hit the nail fair & square there - maybe it's the equivalent of the generic "silly season"?

Spaw, used is OK. Just be sure to freeze it (the beetle I mean) or preserve it in alcohol so I can get at its DNA.

Slightly obsessed with dung beatles at the moment.

A few nights ago one of my workmates felt an irritation on his foot, looking down he found a dung beatle trying to eat him. Imagine how that makes someone feel.

Sledge, since I'm apparently in charge of TP( bog roll) as well as bedpans at the NYCFTTS I suppose I can join this coprophile's thread to imagine the beetle thinking: "Tough shit"!
RtS
PS. Hey, 'Spaw if we could get some trained dung beetles at the Center we could save on bedpan emptying. If we could get some aspiring politicians as well, we could save on TP...

Jeri. I don't know if you've registered this song with the appropriate agencies, but!

Being the night before Remembrance Day, performers have been playing a lot of "depressing" songs. No Man's Land, Band that Played Waltzing MAtilda, etc. Well, I had a copy of your song with me, and at the break, I gave it to Dave, saying that it WASN'T a depressing song.

Well, he went and sung it in front of the whole audience. Everyone loved it. Thanks, JEri!
