Subject: Tunes: Ezekiel's Wheel, also Dry Bones From: Les Tepe Btepe at pcpartner.net Date: 14 Oct 98 - 05:25 PM My wife and I are hosting a home bible study of the book of Ezekiel. We are looking for the tunes to the songs: Dry Bones (Ezekiel cried, "Dem dry bones!") Ezekiel's Wheel (Ezekiel saw a wheel a-turning,) Is there a source for a wav or midi file of these songs? Thank you for your help. Please email to btepe at pcpartner.net |
Subject: Lyr Add: EZEKIEL From: Dale Rose Date: 14 Oct 98 - 06:26 PM Can't help you with the tune, but here is a neat version of Ezekiel that is less common than most. Two different groups of my friends perform it regularly. EZEKIEL
Ezekiel went down in the middle of the field,
Chorus:
Ezekiel went down and he got on board,
chorus
I've got a father in the promised land,
chorus
For a 30 second RealAudio clip of a somewhat similar song by Ian and Sylvia, go to Tunes.com then go down to cut 13, Swing Down, Chariot

Subject: RE: Tunes: Ezekiel's Wheel, also Dry Bones From: Joe Offer Date: 15 Oct 98 - 03:15 AM Click here for a thread with the lyrics of "Ezekiel Saw the Wheel." Click here for a disconnected set of lyrics for "Dry Bones." I have the songs in songbooks and I can type up a simple MIDI tune, if that's what you're looking for - but I'm not good enough to give you any sort of "arrangement." Click on my name to e-mail me if you want me to send that to you. -Joe Offer- |
Subject: RE: Tunes: Ezekiel's Wheel, also Dry Bones From: Tim Jaques tjaques@netcom.ca Date: 17 Oct 98 - 06:07 PM I thought it was "Ezekial saw a wheel a-whirlin', way in the middle of the air." It was Ezekial's vision which has made some people assert that he saw a space craft. |
Subject: Lyr/Tune Add: EZEKIEL SAW THE WHEEL From: Joe Offer Date: 20 Oct 98 - 05:39 PM EZEKIEL SAW THE WHEEL Ezekiel saw the wheel way up in the middle of the air Ezekiel saw the wheel way in the middle of the air And the little wheel run by faith And the big wheel run by the grace of God There's a wheel in a wheel, Way in the middle of the air. Some people go to church for to sing and shout, Way in the middle of the air. Before six months, they're all turned out, Way in the middle of the air. Chorus Never can tell what a hypocrite will do. Way in the middle of the air. He'll lie about me and he'll lie about you, Way in the middle of the air. Chorus Don't pray for things that you don't need, Way in the middle of the air. The Lord don't like no sin and greed, Way in the middle of the air. Chorus MIDI file: EZEKIE~1.MID Timebase: 192 Name: Ezekiel Saw the Wheel This program is worth the effort of learning it. To download the March 10 MIDItext 98 software and get instructions on how to use it click here ABC format: X:1

Subject: Were they wheels or discs? From: GUEST,John R. Rosenburg johnr@ezekielswheels.com Date: 22 Jun 00 - 01:39 PM We all have our ideas concerning what Ezekiel refers to as "flying wheels". Also, isn't it strange how at first he called the beings "creatures" and then late switched to "angels". Maybe they're both the same. Whatever the old boy saw, there's more to the story than any of us know. I certainly have MY ideas. |
