The strat will indeed be making an appearance very soon at a venue near you, but will stick to the trusty Yamaha for PTH gigs.... I suspect the stress would be too much for ossonflags to bear!!

The idea of playing rapid Irish tunes, Rory Gallagher style, with Nik Nak does sound amusing though....(may have to try it sometime!)

Interesting concept though that needs exploring; a third member for the harri watts ensemble (which is the thought path you where on in the first place) AND us as it happens !!

dunno! i read somewhere on mudcat that they'd chucked out their old guitarist for wearing flares and playing a strat, or something like that anyway.
          apparently PTH would be halfway through something like "the long black veil" and he drop a distorted fuzz box solo in the middle of it!
            I could be wrong though.
