The Scottish dance tune "The Cockle Gatherer"

"The Walrus and the Carpenter"

And there was a song by a Mudcatter about the Chinese shellfish gatherers who died at Morecambe, if I remember right.

You can't eat the oysters from New Haven Harbor
What kind of a noise annoys an oyster
I can't get my winkle out
Basket of oysters

I have been thinking a CD collection would be interesting..although I doubt it would be very profitable..but maybe loving hands at home could be done with people submitting songs in good enough sound quality.

1. When the tide is out table is set..outstanding song by Brian R. of BC
2. The oyster shanty on the Robert Bruce thread
3. I have a couple..oystershell road and oysterman..0h yes, crab shakers and one about crabbing on Christmas Eve.
4. Acres of clams.
5. Oyster girl on some threads.
6. Molly Malone.

Probably lots more...lobstering?
