Tig - any way of getting badges in time for any other festivals, like Sidmouth?

From my festivals list on my website:

Aug 19-25 WHITBY FOLK WEEK 2000, Whitby, North Yorkshire Details from: Malcolm Storey, PO Box 44, Selby, N Yorkshire, YO8 9YP. Tel: (01757) 708424. Fax: (01757) 708424. e-mail: wfw@box44selby.freeserve.co.uk Whitby Folk Week. A bit challenging vertically perhaps, but worth the climb. It's always a great festival. A season ticket for the week is £80 up till 1st May. A Mudcat Cafe Workshop is promised. Contact: 01757 708424. Fax: (01757) 708424

Dick Greenhaus and I will be there. Bill Sables invited us and it seemed like a good idea. See you there.

The Badger, Kat and I will be there for at least part of the week. If we aren't up for the workshop look out for us carting a bag of badges around. You don't need to buy but they are worth reading! Spot those of us with Mudcat ones with our cookie on to put names to faces!

I have secured my lodgings at the Endeavour for folk week, and can't wait for a get together.

Graham,

Regardless of what people like Rick Fielding might tell you, Whitby, Ont. is the cultural centre of Canada. Just kidding, we are a town of about 70,000 about half an hour east of Toronto. Not much happens here, but it is a very nice place and although it has grown considerably in the last fifteen years, it still manages to retain a quaint small town feel.

If you find yourself anywhere near Toronto, look me up and I'll give you the three hour tour (2 1/2 of which are having a couple of pints and talking about Whitby England.

Regards,

Steve

Steve

Actually I had heard of it. So please note that this is Whitby Folk "Week" and not "festival". However, it would be really good to see Whitby in Ontario!

I live in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Each summer there is a Whitby Folk Festival. Were you aware of it?

Steve
