Subject: Want to download song Chastity Belt From: Reiver 2 Date: 29 Sep 04 - 08:04 PM Hello from somone who has been long (too long) absent from the Mudcat. There's a new Irish/Scottish band near here and I'm trying to teach them the song "Chastity Belt". (OK, I know it's not really an Irish or Scottish song - at least I don't think it is - but it COULD be!) Reiver 1 and I used to sing it years ago when we were performing in British Columbia, but I have only a poor quality cassette tape of the song done by Rory and Alex McEwan and Caroline and Dick Farina. Reiver 1 and I sang their version although we dirtied up the chorus lines and sang our reverse-bowdlerized version on occasion. (If anyone is interested I can post that version here.) To my question. (Finally!) Does anyone know where I can download a version of this song (preferably, that version) so that I can burn it onto a CD for this band (The Knockabouts) to listen to and learn?
