Subject: RE: BS: Name That Mudcatter From: Azizi Date: 24 Jun 06 - 08:36 PM Well, here's the list that Elmer requested. As you will see, I copied the original phrasing of the question/comment, but-in some cases-added a clarifying comment. See the key to that list and my preliminary comments. Key: [CRN]= Correct response{s} needed means that {as far as I can tell, the correct response had not been posted by the time this list was prepared. [?] Response given as question **** Please help with any corrections to this list, including Questions and/or Answers that I might have missed. "Proofreading" is definitely not my strong suit. Also, if there are additional correct answers for certaine questions please post them. Your help with this will be appreciated. Let me also note that while compiling this list, one of these questions may be a repeat of a previous question, but I kept it in the list. However, I did remove what I considered to be rhetorical questions from the list, and placed them without numbers below the actual list. I recognize that there may be folks who think that all or some of these questions should be on the actual list, and some questions that I kept on the list, should be in the Rhetorical Questions List, and maybe they should. I'm open to the possibility of questions/comments being moved. Without any further ado, here's the initial list: **** Name That Mudcatter: Guide to the Perplexed. Subject: RE: BS: Name That Mudcatter From: Azizi Date: 24 Jun 06 - 06:01 PM Okay, okay, Elmer. I looked at the first couple of posts and it occurs to me that if I'm trawling through looking for questions not answered, I might as well do the other list at the same time. So, is this what it means to be a Decider? Luckily, because of my the Virgo rising/Virgo Mars, I like this kinda thing. [that last reference was made with kudos to Daylia, and aut-oh! no one answered that one yet!] ha! ha! |
Subject: RE: BS: Name That Mudcatter From: Deckman Date: 24 Jun 06 - 05:59 PM To: SRS: "Kittos". I know you've met Kissa Poika, our big white cat. He understands Finnish also and he's slowly building his vocabulaty. He now says: "Out", "in", "treats" ... and he's working on ... "Dad. Get that damned big dog outta here!". CHEERS, Bob(deckman)Nelson |
Subject: RE: BS: Name That Mudcatter From: Azizi Date: 24 Jun 06 - 05:54 PM But before I go, speaking of alligator..here's a question to add to the list: Which Mudcatter's name remind you of the saying "See ya later, alligator"? |
Subject: RE: BS: Name That Mudcatter From: Azizi Date: 24 Jun 06 - 05:53 PM Well actually Elmer, I do have something better to do ;o) but even before I read your post I was thinking of posting the questions/comments that appear to have been answered [correctly]-with the recognition that some questions have more than one correct answer/response. So I'mma go work on the "Correct Responses Needed" list. I think it would be great if someone else tackled the "Correct Answers Given" list. I'm thinking that the initial "Correct Responses Needed" list should have all the entries thus far that need to be correctly answers, and the "Correct Responses Given" list should have all the ones that were correctly answered. However, after that initial list, I'll update that "Correct Responses Needed" list every 24 hours with additional questions/comments that weren't answered within 24 hours of that question's posting date and time. I'm arbitrarily chosing the 24 hour time frame as I think it's good to allow some time for people to ponder over the questions. Maybe the person who choses to take on the task of compiling a "Correct Responses Given" list should also update that list with the additional correctly answered entries that had been made over the last two days [or whenever this thread goes off the board for 2 days time?] So, I'm off to make my list. See ya lata, alligator! |
