You'll find your song right here in the Digital Tradition Folk Song Database (click here) and (click here)
We ask people to use the search box in the upper-right corner of this page to search the database before they request a song in the forum. We have some 7,000 folk songs in the database, so it's one of the best places to look. If the song isn't there, start a new thread, and make sure the title of the song you want is in the thread title. This thread has a generic title and may end up being used for many different songs, and that gets very confusing.

Hi- Any fans of the movie Cool Hand Luke out there? There's a great scene where Luke sings after being told that his momma has died-goes something like this- "I don't care if it rains or freezes, long as I got my plastic Jesus, Sittin' on the dashboard of my car........... If anyone knows all the lyrics and/or who wrote this I'd appreciate it-can't seem to get the tune out of my head! thanks, rita
