Subject: RE: Internet Radio May/June Upload From: Fred McCormick Date: 13 Jul 07 - 12:37 PM Well if you time it right, you'll be able to catch the present June 2007 programme and the July one which will be uploaded this coming Wednesday 18th. The latest bulletin I have from Live365 says that they're going to continue broadcasting after the royalty deadline of July 15th, unless they are specifically ordered off the air by SOUNDEXCHANGE. Given the weight of public opinion which has been building up in opposition to the new royalty regime, I think that Live365 and I will be around for quite some time to come. |

Subject: Internet Radio May/June Upload From: Fred McCormick Date: 17 May 07 - 06:35 AM Hi Folks, This is just to let people know that the latest edition of my Worlds of Trad Internet radio station is now uploaded and as always features the very best in traditional folk, ethnic, world, roots, blues, old time country and early jazz; in fact traditional music from absolutely everywhere. This month there are some freedom and black civil rights songs, a few songs about dying cowboys and gamblers, several harmonica solos, various bits and pieces to celebrate the month of June, a preview of the latest releases in Topic's world music series and lots lots more. The complete playlist is below and I hope you enjoy. To listen to the programme, go to http://www.live365.com/stations/oneworldmusic , then click on the yellow speaker button. If you need to, follow the onscreen instructions to download the station player. Then wait a moment or two and the station will be on the air. The next upload will be Wednesday June 13th 2007. If you'd like to be notified of future uploads direct, please email me at Fredlive365@aol.com with the words ADD ME in the subject line. Remember, listening is free and I'm always glad to receive requests. You can contact me on Fredlive365@aol.com . You may also want to look at a MySpace page I've set up for Worlds of Trad. http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=160651486 . This has a few more details, plus some useful websites and scans of many of the records I've been playing. And don't forget to tell your friends. The more listeners I get the happier I'll be.
