The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club will present their final concert of the season - AND the final concert of their series in Paramus, NJ - on Saturday June 2 with an evening of "Songs of the Sea" featuring Tom Callinan and Don Sineti of The Morgans.

No, the Hurdy Gurdy is not closing up shop.

Starting in September, the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music will present concerts at the brand new Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn, NJ.   The Borough of Fair Lawn will be a co-sponsor of our concert series, enabling us the use of their facility - a gorgeous 171 seat auditorium with state of the art digital sound and lighting, a close/intimate stage, comfortable theater type seating, and an environment that will give the music the setting it deserves. It is great room and I know everyone will enjoy seeing shows there.

So, if you are in the area, please be sure to come to our "going away party" on June 2 at the Central Unitarian Church, 156 Forest Avenue, in Paramus, NJ.   Tom Callinan and Don Sineti have a wonderful songbag of folk songs and stories about the sea. They play a variety of instruments, and if you have not heard Don Sineti sing - you don't want to miss it!   Don has a booming voice that will shake the rafters at the CUC!    It promises to be a fun evening, with a touch of sadness as we leave the building that has been our home for over 20 seasons.
