He said the the river bottoms under the bridges were quite solid. They were well covered by the iron crowbars that slipped through the ice when their gloves froze. |

It's to the tune of "Davy Crockett". I remember hearing it on the radio around 1966 in Minnesota. If anyone knows the words, I sure would be obliged. |
