The possible story behind the writing of The White Hare should not be forgotten

What's to discuss?

Smooth Ops let a nomination of a recently thrown together ditty to go forward for 'Best Traditional Track' in FA 07, even though both artist and label offered to withdraw and let them off the hook.

It didn't win and the Smoothies are still the outsourced font of the BBC's vaguely f*lk-tinged programming.

Cheers Brakn and Jeri - thats exactly what I was looking for .
The contents will probably inflame the discussion rather than settle it , but that's life .
Many thanks again.

Cheers

Betsy

Can anyone help me find the subject matter. It's contents might help sort out a discussion we're having re:- Mr Lakeman and the White Hare.
( I tried BBC Folk awards etcetc but the threads only went back as far as 2005 , I must be missing a key word). Otherwise, sorry to bother you with my inability to find my way around.
Cheers Betsy
