Just spotted an error in my post, Should read: The broadcast features a range of folk mixes throughout the day covering Celtic music, English Folk, Contemporary and Alternative Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, Blues and Roots.

There are planned themed mixes which will be announced.

Sorry about that...

Folk Radio UK has recently launched a new independent 24 hour internet broadcast. The broadcast features a range of themed mixes throughout the day covering Celtic music, English Folk, Contemporary and Alternative Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, Blues and Roots.

The music played is non-mainstream, wide and varied and aimed at those that like a good mix of folk in their diet. The website also features a forum, interviews, articles on folk traditions, a blog (new), videos, reviews and more.

The station is commercial free and is free to listen to. There is no DJ as all the information you need about the music played can be found on the site or is available via the forum.

To listen just visit http://www.folkradio.co.uk
Listening is easy, there is an embedded player on the home page or just use one of the four listen links, depending on your preference of media player.

If you want to contact me direct you can do so via the website or by emailing:
webmaster@folkradio.co.uk

Enjoy!
