Subject: Iggy Pop From: GUEST,punkfolkrocker Date: 23 Jun 07 - 11:16 PM nostalgia kinda thread... mrs woke me up this afternoon.. ..made me ensure i satisfied her thoughout the entire first CD of the Ramones Rhino Anthology.. punk rock is hard work during mid life crisis.. .. later stumbled exhausted back from the gym this evening.. ..then Radio Times alerted IGGY was on the telly at Glastonbury tonight..!!!! ..saw him 12 years ago in Budapest he woulsda bin about the sanme age i am now.. f@ckin mental physical dynamo.. best hard rock band you could imagine.. f@ckin amazing whirlwind performer..!!!!! ..12 years later.. .. so he's 60'ish now ?? ..so the old blokes slowed down a bit.. cant climb to the top of speaker stacks anymore.. fell over and visibly hurt his back tonight.. hope it dont finish him.. SO.. question.. how many wrinkly 60 year old Folkers have the same performance energy & virile presence....??????????? [Bob Dylan excepted..!!!] |
