I just learned the sad news that the Bluegrass Parlor in Tampa is closing its doors. Jeff Jones, the proprietor will continue to provide lessons and the weekly jam session, but at different venues. There is currently a great sale ongoing for strings, instruments, et al. It's too bad Jeff couldn't make a go of this because he is really a good guy, and the Parlor has been a Bluegrass landmark for a long time in this area.
