Hi,

I remember hearing that sentence or a variation of it at school.

Ballygally is just past Larne on the coast road.
Ballygawley is between Dungannon and Enniskillen.

Colin, I only added the "Ballymoney" and "Ballygally" bits to a sentence someone else concocted. I think maybe I heard it from Ann and Derek Sloan, Belfast shop-keepeers and community workers? Maybe another variation could be "...for Ballyclare his BallyGALly" or "for his Ballygally Ballyclare"? Do you say 'gally' or 'gawley'?

Hi Colin just caught up with your Ballygally chat line request - You know you can't make any money out of this - it's not the chat lines your used to **GRIN**.

Have you found any inexpensive stands to keep your whistles together when your out playing in Matties. One like your guitar stand would do... with pegs on it maybe.

Mike

If Ballywalter wasn't so Ballymena he'd have used his Ballymoney to build a Ballycastle for his Ballyclare, B'ygally!

Hi,

OK... before we get into trouble for clogging up the threads with heaps of different threads about the one thing.... ie . the chat room......

We don't need to start a new thread every time we go in.... there is already a thread in existance for this purpose... Mudcat chat room reminder

Please can we all use the above thread or personal messages to get people's attention otherwise there will be a lot of different threads all about the chat room... and also then we can keep all the info in one place, and not have to keep cross linking the threads.....

When the other thread starts getting too big, (if that happens) then we can start another one.

Thanks

bout ye colin,

the problem is time zones..... we're not all online at the same time......

If you're in somewhere that tells you that you have are a server.. you're probably in the right place....

my suggestion has been to go in on the hour and lurk for a few minutes in the hope that someone else appears.... sometimes they do.. sometimes they don't.. luck of the draw.. but it good when they do.....

what you can do is go in...... then minimise it, (by clicking anywhere else on your screen).. and keep going through the threads or whatever.. if someone else joins you (and you have your sound turned on) you will hear a doorbell noise.. then you can click on the IRC icon thingy (at the bottom of your screen) and go back in and chat to whoever it is.

keep trying

Colin,

I've been buffaloed by the ICQ/IRC/ LSMFT for days. When I think I have it. I don't. I can't remember the process from one minute to the next. My Mom calls it a senior moment. I go grab one of my twins and he loads me up. maybe thats the trick.
