Subject: RE: Sound Online Inventory & Catalogue From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 26 Jul 07 - 06:17 PM Sounds like the "Internet Archive" that someone gave us a few months back. So far to date, I have d/l all of the Shadow Radio shows, am working on doing the same for the Saint (Vincent Price) and a half of Gene Autry's Phantom Empire serial. There are gems such as Dragnet, Gunsmoke, Roy Rogers in the Radio shows. If you're looking for Child Development or Storytelling, check those subjects out as well. Lots of great entries. Also I've downloaded some of early Bela Fleck performances, including some pre-Flecktones performances. The Internet Archive also is the place where we downloaded all those texts, such as Child's Ballads, Roy MacKenzies Songs & Ballads of Nova Scotia, (pre-dating Helen Creighton). Lots of entry points. The Wayback Machine is also part of the Library of Congress sites. |
