Subject: RE: BS: I've changed servers and I can't get up From: MMario Date: 01 Aug 07 - 01:21 PM I'm not sure if "tribute" is the correct word for burning of incense and chanting praises. |
Subject: RE: BS: I've changed servers and I can't get up From: JohnInKansas Date: 01 Aug 07 - 01:10 PM You should be able to log in, if you lie about your email addy and pretend to be the old you, assuming you remember your password. You can log in from any computer. You may have to set your browser to accept cookies from mudcat to get a login to "stick." (The new setup may have changed security settings even if you're using the same browser, and may even have a firewall that needs some "permissions.") Once logged in, you'll want to be sure to update your email address, so that future responses from Joe can be sent automatically to where you'll get them - as you've apparently now changed addys. Pending the update, an email to Joe, with copious explanations, and a bit of begging and pleading should work quickly. (It's only a rumor - I think - that he demands "tribute" but small bribes may help.) If there's no prompt reply, try lots of flattery, and hope he doesn't remember what you said about him. John |

Subject: BS: I've changed servers and I can't get up From: GUEST,Mike Miller Date: 01 Aug 07 - 09:21 AM I have left the sloth of my dial up for the breakneck pace of whatever, the hell, I have, now. Unfortunately, with the suite, comes the bitter. My new identity has so confused Mudcat that I am unable to get into my personal page with its invaluable notes and tracings. Tapping the HELP button is of little help (They say they are unavailable but I suspect they are unavailable to me. I tend to take things to heart) Anyway, I am, now, musicmick@verizon.net and I used to be musicmic@peoplepc.com Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Mike |
