Not a bad night, Lenny Reed and his wife, Vell Atkinson and wife, Eric Symonds and wife, Bill Burdon, Michael Kelly, John Thorpe,all from the old days and about 3 others I had never met and were too young anyway. Jimmy the doorman was there , he used to wear jam jar bottom glasses and couldn't see more than about six foot, his optition never told him he had cateracts and just sold him more glasses but he found out a few years ago and had the opperation and now he can forget his glasses alltogether. So in general it was a good night meeting the old crowd and Lenny is going to try and run it every year.

There will be a reunion of the Shotley Bridge Folk Club County Durham in The Miners Arms Blackhill this Saturday night 1st September
